About the role#
Steer is seeking an intern to support the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) team, specifically focusing on the GoNoCo34 Transportation Management Organization (TMO) project in Northern Colorado. This role reports to the Executive Director of the GoNoCo34 TMO and includes opportunities to assist with the Burbank TMO and other transportation planning projects. This is a paid, part-time, hybrid position.
What you'll do#
- Represent the TMO at community events, both in person and online.
- Act as a liaison with TMO members and regional stakeholders.
- Design and execute email marketing and social media campaigns.
- Manage website updates, including member lists, event pages, and flyer campaigns.
- Record and capture minutes for monthly board meetings.
- Support membership growth initiatives among local employers, developers, and non-profits.
- Coordinate administrative tasks such as bus pass orders, vanpool incentive programs, and general office management.
- Assist with marketing design, mapping, report writing, and data analysis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or background in Urban Planning, Communications, Public Health, or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience or interest in stakeholder outreach and public engagement.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and email marketing software.
- Skills in Canva, GIS, and Microsoft Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
