About the role#
The Financial Analytics Intern will join the Business Automation and Optimization team. You will support financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvement projects. This role provides hands-on experience with the data and tools that shape operational decisions. You will work alongside analysts to turn raw data into insights.
What you'll do#
- Gather and prepare data for reporting.
- Build basic dashboards and visualizations.
- Document financial processes and automation work.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to internal presentations and reporting packages.
- Learn data transformation techniques.
- Explore methods to streamline manual tasks.
- Participate in discussions regarding automation and analytics strategy.
- Identify patterns and trends in data using critical thinking.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners.
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of May 2028.
- Coursework or project experience in data analysis or financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and an interest in financial systems.
