About the role#
We are looking for an approachable and tech-savvy student to provide basic technology support for peers at the St. Clair College Downtown Campus. This role is for students who enjoy solving everyday tech problems and helping others navigate campus systems.
What you'll do#
- Help students log into campus Wi-Fi, student portals, and other school systems.
- Assist with printing, scanning, and photocopying using SRC equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic computer issues in SRC-operated areas like the Student Centre.
- Guide students on using shared technology such as email, Microsoft Office, and Blackboard.
- Maintain the functionality of public computers and kiosks.
- Document common problems and solutions to help improve support efficiency.
- Provide friendly, student-first service in person.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an IT or Computer Studies program, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- A tech-savvy approach to solving problems.
- A genuine interest in helping others.
