About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment. You will work on a specific project throughout the summer, culminating in a presentation at our end-of-summer project expo. This program connects your academic studies to real-world applications while you work alongside experienced engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and analyze data to support ongoing engineering projects and process improvements.
- Create and update engineering documentation, standard operating procedures, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving safety.
- Perform time studies and capacity analyses to support production optimization.
- Present your project findings to leadership at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
