About the role#
The Pharmacy Student role involves gathering medication histories and supporting patient care. You will act as a role model for professional and organizational competencies while working within the hospital environment.
What you'll do#
- Collect best possible medication histories for patients.
- Work in the Emergency Department and various other patient units.
- Gather and document medication information accurately.
- Demonstrate professional behavior and organizational core competencies.
What you'll need#
- Enrolment in a university-level Pharmacist Degree Program, at least in your 2nd year.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical arithmetic and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work well within a team and solve problems.
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service and individual leadership.
- Ability to attend work regularly.
