About the role#
This summer internship offers a structured experience within the beverage distribution system. You will learn how the operations function manages the flow of products from manufacturing to the final point of purchase. The program provides broad exposure to various operational departments and supply chain technology.
What you'll do#
- Shadow supply chain management leadership and tour distribution centers.
- Work on teams focused on warehouse and inventory management.
- Assist with demand planning and replenishment processes.
- Gain experience in inbound transportation and delivery operations.
- Support environmental health and safety initiatives.
- Participate in fleet management and supply chain technology projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or Leadership, with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Must be 21 years of age or older by the start of the internship.
- Ability to reside in the Santa Fe Springs area.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a team.
- Self-starter mindset with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver license, auto-liability insurance, and a State Sales Permit.
