About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Associate Product Manager internship based at the SOTI headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario. The position is for the Fall 2026 term and requires on-site attendance. Candidates should be pursuing studies in Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the full product life cycle, ranging from strategic planning to tactical execution.
- Research and document customer and market requirements.
- Create wireframes and write requirements using Agile methodology.
- Perform Product Owner duties, including facilitating sprint planning and review meetings, authoring user stories, and managing the product backlog.
- Prioritize solutions to maintain the product roadmap and align with business objectives.
- Collaborate daily with software developers and testers.
- Assist the marketing team in producing product collateral and sales tools.
- Conduct product demonstrations for partners and key prospects.
- Train technical and sales support teams on product operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an IT, Computer Science, or other relevant academic program.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- A solid understanding of current software technologies, trends, and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to exchange ideas effectively across teams and management.
- A professional demeanor when interfacing with a wide range of customers.
- A strong interest in user experience design and a passion for modern technology.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques.
