About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern or Co-op, you will contribute to the software solutions at SoloPulse Corp. You will work on tasks ranging from algorithm development to the integration of frontend and backend systems.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software using various programming languages.
- Build and maintain both frontend and backend application components.
- Create and optimize algorithms to solve complex technical problems.
- Engineer low-latency solutions for proprietary computational operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience with embedded and real-time systems programming.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design paradigms.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Bonus points for a portfolio of personal projects, experience with the CUDA toolkit, or familiarity with GPU-accelerated libraries like PyTorch, OpenGL, or ThreeJS.
