Systems Engineering Intern

About the role#

SoloPulse Corp is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for a hands-on role focused on developing advanced radar and sensor systems. This position involves working across embedded software, hardware prototyping, and mechanical design to support projects including drones and ground vehicles. You will contribute to the entire lifecycle of radar systems, from initial concept through to physical assembly, lab bring-up, and testing.

What you'll do#

• Develop embedded code for sensor, control, and data acquisition systems.
• Manage hardware prototyping, wiring, system bring-up, and integration.
• Collect, analyze, and distribute technical data to engineering teams.
• Execute mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and system packaging.
• Perform debugging across software, electronics, and physical hardware.
• Support the development of drone and sensing platforms from concept to testing.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Experience with embedded coding for sensor and control systems.
• Familiarity with hardware prototyping and integration.
• Ability to collect and analyze data for engineering purposes.
• Knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication.
• Experience debugging software, electronics, and physical hardware.
