About the role#
This is a hands-on Systems Engineering internship focused on the development of radar and sensor systems for drones and ground vehicles. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concepts to field-ready systems. This role involves a blend of embedded software, hardware prototyping, and mechanical design.
What you'll do#
- Develop embedded code for sensor, control, and data acquisition systems.
- Perform hardware prototyping, wiring, and system integration.
- Support lab bring-up and testing of radar systems.
- Assist with mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and system packaging.
- Collect, analyze, and distribute engineering data to relevant teams.
- Debug issues across software, electronics, and physical hardware.
- Support the development of drone and sensing platforms from concept to test.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Experience with embedded coding for sensor and control systems.
- Familiarity with hardware prototyping and integration.
- Experience debugging software, electronics, and physical hardware.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and fabrication.
- Ability to collect and analyze data for engineering purposes.
