About the role#
Smart Data Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to join our support team. You will work on data management and workflow solutions for health plans and TPAs. This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Dallas office.
What you'll do#
- Manage customer accounts to ensure processes run as expected.
- Interpret customer business processes, analyze technical problems, and recommend programmable solutions.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding SDS workflows and production issues.
- Provide timely responses to all assigned tickets according to company policies.
- Document updates, testing procedures, and technical production monitoring plans.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in a 4-year degree program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency with Java.
- Experience with Unix-like and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong math aptitude.
