About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work within the KSNV newsroom during the Fall 2026 term. Interns will contribute to the ARC news concept, which focuses on authentic, relevant, and community-centered storytelling for broadcast and digital platforms.
What you'll do#
- Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms.
- Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers in the newsroom and in the field.
- Bring fresh story ideas to the table and help shape coverage.
- Learn how to shoot video and frame compelling visuals.
- Gain exposure to control room operations and the production of live broadcasts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recent graduation.
- Standing as at least a sophomore at an accredited college or university.
- Majors in Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to start between August 24th and September 14th.
- Reliable transportation.

- Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week for 10 weeks.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
