About the role#
This internship at SouthPark Mall supports the marketing team in daily property operations. You will act as a point of contact for mall personnel, tenants, vendors, and the public. This role is part-time, paid, and requires an on-site presence.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate participation and logistics during promotional activities.
- Screen inquiries and requests from tenants, vendors, and the public.
- Resolve issues or respond to questions as qualified.
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events held at the property.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and FourSquare.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work with initiative.
- Experience in customer service and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Schedule: Business hours Monday through Friday, with occasional requirements for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work Modality: On-site.
