About the role#
The Associate Director, Co-operative Education provides senior operational leadership for Co-op programs across multiple faculties. This role manages multidisciplinary teams focused on student advising, employer engagement, and curriculum delivery. You will oversee complex portfolios, lead operational planning, and drive change initiatives to ensure consistent and equitable service delivery. By working with faculty, staff, and employers, you will advance work-integrated learning and support student success.
What you'll do#
- Provide senior operational leadership for Co-op programs across multiple faculties.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for student advising, employer engagement, and curriculum delivery.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of programs and services.
- Manage complex portfolios and lead operational planning and change initiatives.
- Ensure consistent, equitable, and high-quality service delivery.
- Advance work-integrated learning opportunities and support student access and success.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Seven years of progressive leadership experience in higher education.
- Five years of experience as a Co-op practitioner in a student-facing role, including student advising and employer engagement.
- Proven success leading complex organizational change across faculties, departments, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate historically siloed teams.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, facilitation, and change management skills.
- Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
