About the role#
We are looking for Parent Education Instructors to support the Black Student Achievement Program. You will deliver workshops to families using our established curriculum. The goal is to create a welcoming space and give parents the tools they need to help their children succeed. You must be available to present these workshops in the morning.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate interactive workshops for parents and families at assigned school sites.
- Deliver the curriculum clearly and professionally.
- Build a positive and inclusive environment for adult learners.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Track participant progress and provide documentation.
- Communicate with school staff and program coordinators.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience teaching or working with adult learners.
- Excellent classroom management and facilitation skills.
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
- A positive attitude.
- A teaching credential is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Los Angeles, California.
- Work is on-site at various locations including West Los Angeles, Culver City, Inglewood, El Segundo, Long Beach, Wilmington, Downtown Los Angeles, and the San Fernando Valley.
- This role is on a rolling basis.
