About the role#
The Associate Director, Co-operative Education provides senior operational leadership for programs across multiple faculties. You will lead multidisciplinary teams focused on student advising, employer engagement, and curriculum delivery. This role oversees complex portfolios and drives operational planning and change initiatives to ensure consistent, equitable service delivery. You will work with faculty, staff, and university partners to advance work-integrated learning and support student success.
What you'll do#
- Provide leadership for Co-op programs across multiple academic areas.
- Manage teams responsible for student advising, employer engagement, and curriculum delivery.
- Lead operational planning and change initiatives to improve programs and services.
- Ensure high-quality and equitable service delivery across all assigned areas.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and employers to advance work-integrated learning opportunities.
- Support student access and success through continuous improvement of program offerings.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Seven years of progressive leadership experience in higher education.
- Five years of experience as a Co-op practitioner in a student-facing role.
- Proven success leading complex organizational change across departments and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate siloed teams, build collaboration, and advance operational consistency.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, relationship-building, facilitation, and change management.
- Strong operational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
