About the role#
Silgan Containers is seeking an Equipment Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This position is based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and offers an opportunity to gain field experience within the metal food packaging industry. You will work alongside a team of professionals to support the equipment engineering department.
What you'll do#
- Process engineering change notice forms.
- Perform drawing changes using CAD and verify your own work.
- Update the document management system to meet department standards.
- Assist the Equipment Engineering Manager with additional tasks and functions as needed.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of college in Mechanical Design or Engineering.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills.
