About the role#
Landrum & Brown is seeking an Aviation Planning Intern to join the team in Chicago. This role provides hands-on experience supporting project managers in the delivery of airport planning projects. The internship offers flexible start dates in January or May.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with clients on airport planning, noise abatement, and environmental or sustainability planning.
- Participate in and assist with organizing community relations efforts and public meetings.
- Develop and maintain electronic data sets and files, performing data analysis and reporting through tables, charts, and comprehensive reports.
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, schedules, and meeting materials based on direction from senior staff.
- Provide technical assistance and respond to requests for data and information.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong passion for the aviation sector and interest in airport operations.
- Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and technical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain high levels of integrity.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour.
