About the role#
Landrum & Brown is seeking an intern to join the Chicago team. This position offers hands-on experience supporting project managers in the delivery of airport planning projects. The role is paid and supports professional development within the aviation consulting sector.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with clients on airport planning, noise abatement, and environmental or sustainability planning.
- Participate in and assist with organizing community relations efforts and public meetings.
- Develop and maintain electronic data sets, perform data analysis, and produce comprehensive reports, charts, and tables.
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, schedules, and meeting materials based on direction from senior staff.
- Provide technical assistance and respond to requests for data and information.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Aviation Management or a related field.
- Strong interest in the aviation industry and airport operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and technical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
