About the role#
This is a part time position for a pharmacy student at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart location. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting, focusing on patient interaction, OTC product knowledge, and retail pharmacy management. This role offers flexible shifts and provides an opportunity to learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent protocols.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
- An interest in developing patient counseling and disease state management skills.
