About the role#
This is a full-time pharmacy internship based in a community retail setting. You will work directly with a local Associate-Owner to gain practical experience in the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy. This role is designed to prepare future pharmacists by providing hands-on training that complements your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations and ensure you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Protect patient privacy by maintaining confidentiality and managing consent.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
- Develop skills in drug therapy, patient counseling, and disease state management.
- Build your knowledge of over-the-counter products.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
- An interest in community pharmacy practice.
- A desire to provide a high-quality experience for pharmacy customers.

- Pay Range: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour, based on experience and location.
