About the role#
This pharmacy internship offers practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to supplement your academic studies. Interns learn how to manage a pharmacy and gain exposure to the daily responsibilities of a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy counter.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent processes.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met during interactions.
- Be clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop your knowledge of over the counter products and disease state management.
- Practice drug therapy assessment and patient counseling skills.
- Learn the operational skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student currently pursuing a pharmacy degree.

- This role is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
- The position is on-site and part-time with flexible shifts.
