About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner, gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies. The role focuses on patient interaction, pharmacy operations, and developing the skills required for a future career as a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations while ensuring all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain strict customer confidentiality and handle consent management.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of community pharmacists.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program or status as a future pharmacist.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time with flexible shifts.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour, based on experience and location.
