About the role#
We are looking for a pharmacy student to join our team at a locally owned and operated store. This part-time position offers practical, hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will gain exposure to the evolving role of community pharmacists while developing your skills in patient care and pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Welcome every customer who enters the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including client confidentiality and consent management.
- Maintain a professional presence so you are easily recognizable to the public.
- Advise patients on over-the-counter products, disease management, and medication treatments.
- Learn the day-to-day operations required to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, colleagues, and other health professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student in pharmaceutical sciences.
