About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program. It provides hands-on experience in retail stores, offering insight into management, sales, and store operations. You will gain practical experience by working in a paint store, traveling with a Sales Representative, and spending time with your management team. Interns also complete a team-based project that addresses real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and product preparation.
- Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms.
- Collaborate with fellow interns on a project addressing business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
- Must be a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management is preferred.
