About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12 week summer program based in Toledo, Ohio. You will gain hands-on experience in retail store operations, sales, and management. This role provides insight into the business through structured time with management teams and shadowing a Sales Representative. You will also work with fellow interns on a team project to address a real business challenge.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, product preparation and mixing, and general store maintenance.
- Unload deliveries, organize stockrooms, and manage inventory flow.
- Collaborate with other interns on a team-based project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university, specifically as a rising or current Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or Communications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
