About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12 week summer program based in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role provides hands-on experience in retail store operations, sales, and management. You will gain insight into business-to-business and retail environments by working directly with store management and shadowing sales representatives. Interns also collaborate on a team-based project to address real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and recommend items to customers.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and assist with product preparation.
- Perform general store maintenance and help manage inventory.
- Work with fellow interns to complete a project focused on a business challenge.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current enrollment in a college or university, specifically in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
