About the role#
The Shell Assessed Internship Programme offers students the opportunity to gain professional experience within the energy industry. You will work on real-world projects that align with your academic background and interests while being supported by a dedicated supervisor and mentor. This program serves as a potential pathway to future opportunities, including return internships or the Shell Graduate Programme.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on projects that match your field of study.
- Participate in regular feedback sessions and performance assessments.
- Develop professional skills through structured training and development programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
- At least one semester of education remaining after your internship concludes.
- A minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
- Academic background in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Data Science, or Statistics.
Location & details#
- Locations: Calgary and Scotford, Alberta.
- Terms: Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027.
- Duration: 4, 8, 12, or 16 months.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with competitive salary and pay progressions for longer terms.
- Relocation: Transportation support is provided from your university to the work location and back at the end of the term.
