    About the role#

    This fellowship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with farm-based education programs. You will immerse yourself in the daily rhythms of the farm across the winter, summer, and fall seasons. Fellows receive mentorship from education staff and participate in professional learning opportunities. This role is open to college graduates with an interest in education, sustainability, or farm-based learning.

    What you'll do#

    • Observe, team teach, and lead activities for school programs, camp, the children’s farmyard, and family programs.
    • Attend daily program set-up and debrief meetings with the education team.
    • Support or teach family programs and public events during occasional weekends.
    • Participate in staff meetings and professional learning sessions.
    • Complete education support projects on non-teaching days.

    What you'll need#

    • A college degree.
    • Prior work experience with camps or education programs.
    • An interest in education, sustainability, or farm-based learning.
    • The ability to work independently and follow directions.
    • Must pass a background check.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Shelburne, Vermont.
    • Term: January 2027 through November 2027.
    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with occasional weekend work.
    • This is a full-time, paid position.
