About the role#
The PK-3 Intern Program Coach/Instructor provides instruction, coaching, and support to interns. You will work under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Leadership and Learning Collaborative. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Provide coaching and instruction aligned to California State Standards.
- Support interns through Preliminary and Intern Program Standards.
- Guide participants in meeting Teaching Performance Expectations.
What you'll need#
- A valid CA Clear credential aligned to the intern program.
- At least three years of teaching experience within the credential area.
- Expertise in teaching and coaching adult learners.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Candidates must hold a credential for the PK-3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction or Multiple Subject area, or for Special Education programs including Mild/Moderate, Mild to Moderate Support Needs, Moderate/Severe, or Extensive Support Needs.
