About the role#
Broward County Public Schools is hiring a Teacher for Exceptional Student Education in Miramar, Florida. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
You will create and run educational plans tailored to exceptional students. The role involves working alongside teachers and staff to assist student learning. You will track student progress, assess their development, and provide support to their families. You will also represent the school in IEP meetings.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor degree in Education
- Certification in Exceptional Student Education
- Experience working with students who have disabilities
- Ability to write and manage Individualized Education Programs
- Clear communication skills
- We welcome applicants with degrees in Psychology, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Sociology.
