About the role#
Broward County Public Schools is seeking a full-time Teacher for Exceptional Student Education in Miramar, Florida. This is a paid, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement educational plans tailored to the needs of exceptional students.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and development.
- Monitor and assess student progress throughout the academic year.
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding student growth.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Education.
- Certification in Exceptional Student Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Candidates from diverse academic backgrounds including Psychology, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, and Sociology are encouraged to apply.
