About the role#
We are looking for an SRE / Platform Infrastructure Engineer Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how we build, deploy, and maintain large-scale systems. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support our infrastructure, improve system reliability, and contribute to automation efforts. This role is for those eager to experiment and grow their skills in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist in building, maintaining, and improving infrastructure systems using Kubernetes and AWS.
- Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
- Automate repetitive tasks and improve developer workflows using scripts or tools.
- Participate in on-call shadowing and incident reviews to learn how we manage system reliability.
- Contribute to documentation and help maintain operational runbooks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, along with Linux systems and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Golang or Python.
- An interest in distributed systems, reliability, and infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
