About the role#
Sezzle is looking for a Risk & Disputes Intern to join the Risk & Fraud department. You will analyze and resolve card and ACH disputes. This role involves working with the fraud and disputes teams to determine the best course of action for each case. You will also provide recommendations to management on how to improve and scale internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Investigate disputed credit card, debit card, and ACH transactions.
- Resolve disputes within required timeframes to meet service level agreements.
- Determine next steps for cases by working cross-functionally with fraud and disputes teams.
- Analyze individual transactions and account patterns to identify trends.
- Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists, and engineering to improve loss prevention tools and processes.
- Maintain knowledge of fraud prevention techniques.
- Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Use Claude or equivalent large language models to assist with research and productivity.
What you'll need#
- Experience in data analysis.
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good business judgment.
- Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision after training.
- Experience using large language models like Claude.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, full-time position based in Argentina.
- You are expected to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Central Time.
- This is a paid internship.
