About the role#
We are looking for an IT Operations Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in IT service delivery and operational support. You will work closely with our IT Operations team to resolve user issues, manage hardware inventory, and contribute to internal projects. This internship is for students or recent graduates who want to build a career in IT support and systems administration.
What you'll do#
- Respond to and resolve IT service desk tickets in Jira covering hardware, software, and user access.
- Diagnose and fix end-user device issues on both macOS and Windows systems.
- Manage the setup, imaging, and distribution of laptops and peripherals for staff.
- Provision accounts for new hires and assist with access removal and equipment collection during departures.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets through tagging, documentation, and periodic audits.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical program.
- Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- A basic understanding of networking, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Bogotá. You will work in a hybrid capacity, with both remote and on-site requirements.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
