About the role#
We are looking for a Product Operations Intern to join our Rewards team. This role focuses on our receipt scanning feature, where you will monitor how the system performs in the real world. You will work with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure the scanning experience is accurate and fair. This is an operations role with a strong product focus, perfect for someone who enjoys finding patterns in data and turning them into clear recommendations.
What you'll do#
- Manage the day-to-day quality of receipt scanning submissions by reviewing them against validation rules.
- Identify edge cases like unusual receipt formats, retailer quirks, duplicates, or signs of abuse.
- Document findings so the team can manage them at scale.
- Translate submission data into actionable feedback for engineering, including bug reports and improvement suggestions.
- Maintain a prioritized list of improvements based on customer impact, fraud risk, and operational cost.
- Track fixes through the backlog and confirm that improvements work as expected.
- Create and update review guidelines, decision criteria, and escalation paths.
- Propose ways to automate or simplify the review workflow and help shape our internal tools.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A genuine interest in consumer fintech, rewards programs, or product operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical, structured mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Demonstrated experience using Claude or similar large language model tools.
- Prior experience in operations, product, fintech, data analysis, or trust and safety is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote position based in Colombia.
- The role is on a rolling term basis.
- Compensation is 2,800,000 COP per month.
