About the role#
Quantitative Researchers act as the intellectual architects of trading strategies. This role focuses on conducting research and analysis to solve complex problems in global markets. You will work in a collaborative environment where you are expected to take ownership of projects and communicate technical concepts clearly.
What you'll do#
- Develop sophisticated models that transform complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Apply rigorous statistical and machine-learning methodologies to diverse financial datasets.
- Develop innovative approaches to understanding risk and returns.
- Design strategy frameworks leveraging first principles from economics and other fields.
- Conduct cutting-edge research and analysis.
What you'll need#
- PhD, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven track record developing sophisticated predictive models.
- Strong programming skills, including mastery of Python for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical and machine learning modeling frameworks.
- Experience working with large data sets and computationally intensive projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and research acumen.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship. The base salary is prorated based on a full-time salary range of $200,000 to $300,000.
