About the role#
As an Associate Product Owner intern, you will join our technology team to act as a bridge between business ideas and technical delivery. You will learn how our platforms function while helping teams turn concepts into clear stories, priorities, and practical releases. This is a full-time, 4-month contract role designed for students in Computer Science or Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Translate business requests into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Participate in discovery sessions to define project goals and requirements.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and team demos alongside developers and project managers.
- Create process maps and data flows to help teams understand complex workflows.
- Partner with the QA team to assist with test scenarios, defect triage, and release readiness.
- Use SQL and data analysis to investigate issues and validate outcomes.
- Identify friction points in current processes and suggest ways to simplify them.
What you'll need#
- Experience writing requirements, user stories, and action-oriented documentation.
- A basic understanding of Agile delivery methods.
- A willingness to learn tools like Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, APIs, or process mapping.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to ask questions that clarify project goals and keep work moving forward.
