About the role#
This is a hands-on, execution-focused UI/UX design role embedded within the product team. You will work within established design patterns and receive guidance from the Senior UX Designer. Success in this role is measured by your ability to collaborate closely, iterate quickly, and deliver practical, user-friendly solutions.
What you'll do#
- Translate requirements and workflows into clear, intuitive, and build-ready designs.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
- Work within an agile team environment, participating in sprint ceremonies.
- Collaborate closely with the product team, engineering, and various stakeholders.
- Iterate quickly to balance speed with design quality.
What you'll need#
- At least 6 months of experience in UX design through a co-op or equivalent assignment.
- Strong UI/UX fundamentals and the ability to design intuitive user experiences.
- Proficiency in Figma for creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Experience with mobile app design.
- Understanding of usability, accessibility, and modern UI patterns.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical designs.
- Exposure to design systems and familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
- Experience working on operational or service-based workflows.
- Basic experience with usability testing or incorporating feedback.
Location & details#
- Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with 4 days in the office.
- Status: Full-time, 1-year contract.
- Compensation: $23 per hour.
- Paid internship.
