About the role#
The Live Production Intern will gain experience across various facets of the Entertainment Experience and Promotions department. This role involves supporting live event execution at Climate Pledge Arena, including content management, control room operations, and creative planning. This is a paid, part-time internship for the Fall 2026 term, running from September 2026 through April 2027.
What you'll do#
- Load and test content for display on in-venue LEDs at Climate Pledge Arena.
- Provide support in the control room during game nights, filling various positions as needed.
- Execute video editing projects, such as creating in-game highlights and feature cutdowns.
- Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions for game night production.
- Prepare and distribute pre-game paperwork and communications.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Marketing.
- A basic understanding of live production within a control room environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across organizational departments.
- A detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful approach to tasks.
- Availability to work approximately 25 hours per week, including a flexible schedule that covers nights, weekends, and holidays.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at the Seattle Kraken corporate office and Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
- Work requires physical activity, including frequent bending, walking through the building, and lifting 15-20 pounds.
