About the role#
The Schroders Capital Infrastructure internship is a 9-week program designed to provide a practical introduction to the asset management industry. You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with teams that focus on energy transition and infrastructure equity. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of investment management, from initial research to investor reporting.
What you'll do#
- Participate in introductory training to build your understanding of the business.
- Contribute to live projects and shadow experienced professionals.
- Network with colleagues and other interns to build professional connections.
- Develop and launch new product offerings by researching investment themes and structuring new products.
- Create client materials and support capital raising processes, including investor due diligence.
- Assist in portfolio management tasks such as construction analysis, investment governance, and investor reporting.
- Maintain fund-level data to ensure accuracy in reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in your Junior Year of undergraduate study, with an expected graduation date in 2028.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to understand target audiences.
- An innovative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- A flexible, inquisitive, and open-minded attitude.
- A growth mindset and a result-oriented approach to your work.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7th to August 6th).
- Modality: Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week).
