About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program runs from June to August 2027. You will work with the Special Situations investment banking team, which helps middle-market companies navigate complex financial challenges through sales or financing strategies. This is a full-time, paid position based in Columbia, Maryland.
What you'll do#
- Perform industry research and prepare pitches for potential new clients.
- Assist with creating and editing marketing materials for active engagements.
- Work with senior bankers on ongoing deals across multiple industries.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A GPA of 3.6 or above.
- Previous successful business experience, with a preference for internships in Accounting, Valuations, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- An ability to produce high-quality work products.
- Reliable transportation for travel to the office and required events.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Location: Columbia, Maryland.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-person at the office 4 days per week).
- Schedule: 30 to 32 hours per week.
