About the role#
Discovery Co-op is hiring a full-time Marketing Co-op Student for an 8-month term starting in January 2027. This position is based at our Administration Office in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. You will report to the VP of Marketing and gain hands-on experience by supporting real marketing and communications projects across our business.
What you'll do#
- Assist with social media planning, scheduling, and content creation.
- Support the execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns.
- Maintain a digital library of marketing assets and visuals.
- Help create graphics and visuals using Canva and support website updates.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of community events, Kids Club, and store activations.
- Participate in event day logistics and promotional material preparation.
- Contribute to internal communications and sustainability storytelling.
- Research competitors, market trends, and promotional opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary Marketing, Business, or Communications co-operative work experience program for the 2027 term.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Willingness to relocate to the Battlefords.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Past experience in marketing, events, or customer-facing roles is an asset, as is familiarity with Adobe tools or Canva.
