About the role#
Gymreapers is offering an unpaid, credit-bearing internship for students interested in creator marketing, affiliate programs, and community building. You will work with our Brand Partnerships team to support the Gymreapers TikTok Shop affiliate community on Discord. This role provides hands-on experience in a supervised environment, focusing on engagement, moderation, and communication within our creator network.
What you'll do#
- Welcome new members and guide them through onboarding steps.
- Post announcements, launch reminders, and contest updates using approved content.
- Monitor channels to ensure discussions remain on-topic and free of spam.
- Log recurring questions, friction points, and member confusion to help improve our processes.
- Maintain a weekly summary tracking new members, activity levels, and escalated issues.
- Flag standout content from members for potential team use.
- Answer routine questions using an established FAQ and escalate complex inquiries to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program for marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Eligibility to receive academic credit for this internship and written approval from your school.
- Experience as an active Discord user with an understanding of roles, channels, and community norms.
- Clear, professional written communication skills.
- Reliability and consistency in maintaining an agreed weekly schedule.
- Familiarity with TikTok, TikTok Shop, or creator programs is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is remote, with a preference for candidates who can spend time on-site at our headquarters in Nampa, Idaho.
- The internship lasts for one academic term, approximately 12 to 15 weeks.
- We require a commitment of 12 to 20 hours per week, scheduled around your academic obligations.
- Candidates who can be reachable during business hours, 8 AM to 5 PM MT, are preferred due to peak community activity.
- This is an unpaid internship for academic credit only.
