    About the role#

    As a Packaging Engineer Co-Op, you will provide technical support for packaging challenges across our business units and manufacturing operations. You will support projects focused on productivity, quality, innovation, and sustainability. This role offers the chance to gain experience in packaging design and development within the consumer-packaged goods industry.

    What you'll do#

    • Execute experiments using established laboratory and pilot plant procedures.
    • Design and develop primary and secondary packaging components.
    • Parallel path technical solutions to meet project goals and timelines.
    • Develop packaging specifications for both existing and new materials.
    • Provide continuous improvement initiatives and production support.
    • Communicate with departments including Product Development, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering with junior status.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to apply and broaden knowledge of polymer and corrugate packaging.
    • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • A valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a personal vehicle.
