About the role#
Samtec Inc is hiring an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to join our team in New Albany, Indiana. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Configure and run High Speed Electrical Test (HSET) equipment for Samtec products.
- Report test results and analyze data to find root causes of failure.
- Design multilayer circuit boards for use with HSET systems.
- Manage projects using our internal project management systems.
- Support global facilities that perform HSET.
What you'll need#
- At least 1 year of experience performing electrical diagnosis of systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with computer programming using high-level languages like Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
