About the role#
Samtec is hiring an Electrical Engineering Co-Op to work on signal integrity test systems. You will focus on measuring high speed twinaxial cable assemblies at our New Albany facility. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Run High Speed Electrical Test (HSET) equipment and report your findings.
- Configure HSET systems for various Samtec products.
- Design multilayer circuit boards to support HSET operations.
- Analyze test data to find root causes of product failures.
- Support global facilities that perform HSET.
- Manage your projects using internal project management systems.
What you'll need#
- At least 1 year of experience performing electrical diagnosis on systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with programming in languages such as Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- You must be able to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- You must be able to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
