About the role#
This position supports the Campus Experience and Events department at Saint Mary's College. You will manage daily operations for student events, including staff supervision and inventory oversight. This is a paid, on-site role for the Fall 2026 term. Please note that this position is open to Saint Mary's students only.
What you'll do#
- Train, schedule, and supervise box office and front of house staff for performance events.
- Create the student office work schedule.
- Train student staff on sales, auditing procedures, and phone and credit card transactions.
- Oversee concession sales and manage inventory levels.
- Enter event reservations into the EMS system.
- Delegate projects to assistant managers and student crews.
- Assist with student worker performance assessments and systems analysis.
- Recruit and develop assistant house managers.
What you'll need#
- Leadership and customer service skills.
- A pleasant personality and a task-focused approach.
- Previous experience in retail or management.
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends during events.
- Current enrollment as a student at Saint Mary's College in a field such as Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
Location & details#
- Location: Notre Dame, Indiana.
- Schedule: Includes standard office hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, plus required evenings and weekends.
