Student Center Desk Worker - Office of Student Involvement

About the role#

The Student Center Desk Worker serves as the initial point of contact for the Office of Student Involvement. This position requires a professional presence to welcome students and guests to Saint Mary's College while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of campus events and programming.

What you'll do#

• Provide a welcoming environment for all students and guests.
• Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Stay informed on current campus events and programming to assist visitors.
• Work independently, take initiative, and exercise strong problem-solving skills.
• Handle emergency situations as they arise.

What you'll need#

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A professional image suitable for high-traffic guest interaction.
• General knowledge of Saint Mary's College.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Current enrollment as a Saint Mary's College student.

Location & details#

• Location: Notre Dame, Indiana.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Standard office hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Terms: This is a paid position.
