About the role#
As a Strategy & Management Consulting intern, you will work with mid-sized businesses across various industries. You will gain hands-on experience by working on multiple parts of client projects, providing direct access to executive management. This role is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Boston.
What you'll do#
- Meet with clients to conduct management consulting projects.
- Facilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs, requirements, and challenges.
- Assist business users, project managers, and IT leadership in optimizing project scope, benefits, and risks.
- Conduct benchmarking research and analysis regarding IT spending, trends, and industry practices.
- Provide leadership when working with solution vendors.
- Prepare reports on consulting services and discuss findings and recommendations with clients.
- Analyze, develop, and document opportunities for business improvement.
- Complete client projects efficiently.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Human Resources, Mathematics, Organizational Development, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% locally and nationally.
- Access to reliable transportation to reach client sites.
