About the role#
As a Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern, you will work with businesses across various industries. You will gain hands-on experience and interact with clients at different management levels. You will be paired with a Performance Advisor to support your professional development throughout the summer. Your work will focus on risk assessment services, including internal audits, compliance work, and financial reporting control projects.
What you'll do#
- Support consulting projects by sitting in on client meetings.
- Prepare and deliver reports on consulting services performed.
- Discuss project results and recommendations with clients.
- Document your findings and recommendations clearly.
- Travel to client locations as needed to provide services.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information.
- Complete projects according to established timelines and critical dates.
- Attend relevant conferences, trainings, and meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a B.A. or B.S. degree program at an accredited university.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or June 2028.
- Major in Accounting, Finance, or Data and Analytics.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to multi-task and manage projects effectively.
- Capability to work well within a team environment.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- CPA certification or progress toward it is preferred but not required.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
