About the role#
As a Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern, you will work with businesses across various industries. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting risk assessment services, including internal audits, compliance work, and financial reporting control projects. This role involves direct interaction with client management teams to help them identify and mitigate business risks.
What you'll do#
- Support consulting projects by sitting in on client meetings.
- Prepare and deliver reports on consulting services.
- Discuss project results and recommendations with clients.
- Analyze client information using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Document findings and recommendations to support client operations.
- Complete assigned projects efficiently according to project timelines.
- Attend relevant conferences, trainings, and meetings for professional development.
- Travel to client locations as required.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 90 credit hours.
- Working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or Data Science.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- High degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred.
