About the role#
RSM US LLP is hiring an Assurance Intern for the Winter 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Austin, Texas. You will work on-site to assist our audit teams in delivering professional services to middle-market clients.
What you'll do#
- Learn the RSM audit approach and use our internal tools.
- Assess business risks and evaluate the internal control structures of our clients.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
- Draft financial statements using prescribed formats.
- Build an understanding of client needs, their business, and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.
What you'll need#
- You are currently an Accounting major working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- You can travel to assigned client locations and have access to reliable transportation.
- We do not provide sponsorship for this position.
